MEN IN BLACK 3: The third installment in the sci-fi series draws out the most laughs as Agent J (Will Smith) goes back in time to the 1960s to stop an alien from assassinating his friend, Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) and changing history.
THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL: Judi Dench spearheads an A-list cast of golden legends in a charming tale about British retirees taking up residence in a rundown hotel in India.
Getting on in years, each of them has a lesson to learn; their transformation has to be seen to be believed.
Directed by John Madden, the film also stars Maggie Smith, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Nighy and Dev Patel.
THE AVENGERS: Well-balanced, this is an ensemble feature for the young where there is plenty of action, and laughs, in this Marvel Comics classic which brings together Captain America, the Hulk and Iron Man.
THE FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT: We do forfeit many things for love and Jason Segel and Emily Blunt are no exception in this amusing, but needlessly long film.
MARGIN CALL: Character-driven thriller set in the world of financial high-stakes starring Kevin Spacey and Zachary Quinto.
